When results arrive

CELPIP General results are usually available online within 3-4 business days of your test. You can view them in your CELPIP account and order printed copies.

How long scores are valid

A CELPIP result is valid for 2 years from the test date for both IRCC and DHA purposes. Plan your application so your scores are still valid when you submit.

How much it costs

The CELPIP General fee is set by Paragon Testing Enterprises and varies by location — it is typically around $295 CAD. Check the current fee for your test centre on the official CELPIP website before booking, as prices change.

Rescoring and retakes

If you believe a score is wrong, you can request a rescore within the allowed window (fees apply; part or all of the fee is refunded if the score changes). You can also simply retake the test — only your most recent result is used by IRCC/DHA.

Sending scores

You assign your CELPIP result to IRCC or DHA through your account. For Canada, you can share results directly with IRCC; for Australia, follow DHA's instructions for your subclass.
